Club Room welcomes Grammy-winning producer, bandleader, trumpeter and vocalist Brian Newman back to the stage with brand new music from his latest album, Songs For Lonely Lovers. “I’ve always wanted to make a record that showcased the deeper side of Great American Songbook, featuring the songs that reach farther into love struggles, feelings of loneliness and those ‘last call’ nights” he recently shared with Variety Magazine. He added that those deep sad songs always make him happy when he gets to perform them. “I guess it’s just the piece of me that knows what it’s like to feel like the worlds against you, and you’ve got nothing to lose, but to prove to yourself that you can overcome what life dishes out.”
